The Go-Betweens: The house that Jack Kerouac built - Video
What can I say? I just couldn't resist after seeing Robert...
PS You can find news on Forster's forthcoming (!)album here. Great news.
Hi misha fantastic blog you have, thanks for the breaking news on the release of roberts new album.Ive put a post on my new blog you may want to check out, I'm going to post some rare Gobs stuff soon, the blogs at http://stripedsunlight.blogspot.com/
Jack Kerouac is one of the most enigmatic writers of our recent history. The myth never stops flowing from who he was (or was made out to be), and who he really might have been. It's odd that Kerouac began a left-wing, alternative lifestyle movement, except he himself was completely conservative and abhorred that very movement. So many oddities about him...he'll forever remain mysterious, hopefully, because that's the greatest thing about him. Oh, and his writing isn't terrible either. I've written a lot on Mr. Kerouac at www.adamluebke.blogspot.com He's forever a fountain of inspiration.
