I'm not a great Robert Wyatt fan, but this collection of EPs just takes my breath away: specially the first three EPs (songs 1-14), which are loaded with wonderful cover versions, one of which is Elvis Costello's magnificent Shipbuilding, playedeven better by Wyatt, but also with a is-this-really-it?-version of Neil Diamond's I'm a believer, and then Peter Gabriel's Biko among others. The fourth EP is a whole different matter, with the eerie sounds from The Animals Film, and the fifth is a series of remixes of songs from Wyatt's Shleep album.(And check out the surprise link because it is big fun, trust me!)

A wonderful post - thanks so much for putting it up. Unfortunately, I get an error when I try to expand Part 2 (Part 1 was fine). Has anyone else had a problem, or is it just me? Any suggestions?

re problems, UNRAR claims that Yolanda has a problem, but it seems to unrar without problems.

I confirm I also get the message "CRC failed in Part 2\wyatt, robert-eps--11--yolanda.mp3. The file is corrupt" and track 11 is not extracted. The rest of Part2 is OK.

Thanks - I remember the video for 'Shipbuilding' & an OGWT performance by Wyatt, powerful stuff & whilst I agree with his politics I've never heard much of the music so I look forward to listening to these tracks.
NB - yes part2/track11 is corrupt - please post a single trackfix :-)
