What can I say? I absolutely love this new song...
"I've dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas; they've gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the colour of my mind."

Radiohead: Live Ladyland Studios 2003
I suppose I'm one of the million people who are are dying waiting for "In Rainbows", the new Radiohead LP, so when I bumped into this very good recording of an advance concert for "Hail to the thief" (which was then yet to be released) I couldn't resist and now here it is.It's 11 songs (including a semi-acoustic rendition of Fake plastic trees and No suprises).
PS Check out the surprise link if you really can't wait till October 10th for LP7

Thom Yorke: Spitting Feathers
I am not even sure that I really like his solo so much..but nonetheless he is one of the most important musicians of the last 15 years (with his Radiohead), so here is this japanese EP, "Spitting Feathers", which is a more electronic counterpart to last year's "The Eraser".If you are such big Radiohead fans as I am I have no doubt that you will find something interesting in it, though there are only 5 tracks (including an extended version of "The Eraser" 's Harrowdown Hill).

Radiohead: On a friday
Before choosing the name RADIOHEAD (after a TALKING HEADS song from "True stories" the band was called On A Friday -because they used to rehearse on fridays). These demos -circa 1991- were recorded before they changed their name and before they signed to EMI.It is a very bizzare collection of songs by the way: it starts with classic rock songs (the Pablo Honey kind of thing), but it goes on with trip-hop and dance-influenced tracks (see "The new generation", or "Something to hate" where Yorke sounds like...Tricky!) with loops, drum machines and such.
Click on the single track to know more about it (it's a link to Radiohead At Ease Website).

Radiohead: Com lag

Here is a gift to all RADIOHEAD fans out there (who do not have this already): "Com lag" is a collection of radiohead tracks taken from various singles. There are interesting remixes (like Four tet's "Scatterbrain"), an alternative version of "I will" (a very moving one, precisely), non-album tracks, and live version. Maybe it is not essential for those vho do not dig RADIOHEAD, but I assure you that the only "Fog (again)" live (a very different one from the original studio version, more ballad-like, something quite close to "Like spinning plates" live version, or "True love waits"), with Thom Yorke alone on vocals and piano is worth the download.
1. 2+2 = 5 (Live At Earl's Court, London, 26/11/03)
2. Remyxomatosis (Cristian Vogel RMX)
3. I Will (Los Angeles Version)
4. Paperbag Writer
5. I Am A Wicked Child
6. I Am Citizen Insane
7. Skttbrain (Four Tet RMX)
8. Gagging Order
9. Fog (Again) (Live)
10. Where Bluebirds Fly
